Sauvignon Blanc

Luigi Bosca Sauvignon Blanc is a bright pale yellow wine with steely hues. It has delicate and expressive aromas, with white and citrus flower notes. It is vivacious and refreshing in the mouth, clean, balanced and voluptuous in the palate, with a herby character that distinguishes it, together with a vibrant aftertaste. This wine’s varietal typicity speaks of the terroir where it is born.

Winemaking

Grapes are manually harvested at two different maturity levels and separately vinified. Handpicking, selection of clusters, destemming and manual grain selection. Pressed from four to six hours. Must is decanted in tanks during 24 hours and fermented in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16°C with selected yeasts. After the alcoholic fermentation is completed, it rests six months on fine lees. The blend is produced from the two wines. Lightly filtered while bottled.

Ageing in barrels

It is not aged in barrels.
