Luigi Bosca · Syrah is a deep burgundy red wine with ruby hues. It has intense and expressive aromas, with spicy, leather and smoked notes, provided by its ageing in oak barrels. It is gentle and strong in the mouth, with firm tannins that add structure. It is fresh and clean in the palate, with a ripe and fleshy character, typicity and long finish with roasting touches. It is an emblem wine due to its history and style.

Ideal to enjoy with rib cap, Creole sauce and potato mille-feuille, or pork breast with grilled vegetables.

Winemaking

Handpicking. Selection of clusters and destemming. Fermentation is conducted in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28°C with selected yeasts. After the alcoholic fermentation is completed, the wine is transferred to French oak barrels where it rests for 12 months. Lightly filtered while bottled.

Ageing in barrels

The wine is aged in French oak barrels during 12 months.
